This move follows his recent marriage to longtime partner Min Ah in an intimate ceremony held in Los Angeles, as confirmed by a representative to People.
According to Realtor.com, the property is now in the "pending" stage. Carrey bought the Keawakapu Beach estate for $16.5 million in 2016, and the $35 million asking price suggests he aimed to more than double his investment over a decade of ownership.
The 4,717-square-foot residence, built in 2002, features three bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms on nearly an acre of land. The listing, handled by Blake Hill of Hawaii Life, describes it as a "bohemian luxury unicorn" and includes all furnishings. Designed by Ike Kligerman Barkley, the estate emphasizes indoor-outdoor living with ocean views.
Amenities include a chef's kitchen with two islands, a primary suite with a swinging bed, and a freeform pool with a grotto and slide. Carrey's decision to sell aligns with his increasingly private lifestyle away from Hollywood, where he has reportedly spent significant time reading, writing, and painting in Hawaii. This sale follows his 2024 sale of a Brentwood estate in Los Angeles, which he owned for nearly 30 years and initially listed for $28.9 million before selling for $17 million.
