The project, proposed by Igor Latsanovski and also involving Zeitouny & Associates Inc., will subdivide a property that currently holds a single-family home.
The development uses California Senate Bills 1123 and 684, which aim to simplify the approval process for townhome projects across the state. While specific plans for the Northridge site were not included in the filing, a similar project by Latsanovski in North Hills featured contemporary two-story homes with three bedrooms and two-car garages, according to Urbanize.city. City records indicate the Northridge property sold for just over $1 million earlier this year.
This development reflects a growing trend of replacing single-family homes with higher-density housing in Los Angeles, which could offer more housing options in the Valley.
