NBC News is preparing for its "Decision '26" Election Day coverage, with 13 hours of live television reporting planned for Tuesday, November 3, 2026. The coverage begins at 5 p.m. ET and runs until early Wednesday morning, November 4, at 6 a.m. ET, according to Variety.

Primetime coverage will be led by Savannah Guthrie, Tom Llamas, Kristen Welker, and Hallie Jackson from NBC News' election headquarters at 30 Rockefeller Plaza in New York. Hallie Jackson will anchor the initial broadcast from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. ET, while Craig Melvin and Kate Snow will take over overnight coverage starting at 2 a.m. ET. Most NBC stations will join the coverage at 6:30 p.m. ET.

Steve Kornacki, the chief data analyst, will provide insights from an enhanced, dual-screen Big Board. His "Kornacki Cam" livestream, which generated over 41 million starts during the primary election cycle, will be available on YouTube, NBCNews.com, the NBC News app, TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook starting at 5:30 p.m. ET.

Peacock subscribers can access a multiview election night experience, combining live NBC News NOW coverage, "Kornacki Cam" analysis, and a real-time election results board. This Peacock coverage also begins at 5 p.m. ET, with the multiview launching at 5:30 p.m. ET. NBC News will use augmented and virtual reality, and extended reality elements, to enhance its reporting.

More than a dozen correspondents will report from across the country, with Ryan Nobles covering Capitol Hill, Garrett Haake following President Trump, and Laura Jarrett providing legal analysis. The NBC News Decision Desk will make independent race calls, supported by 10 county captains and a coordinator for on-the-ground reporting. The Vote Watch team will monitor misinformation, foreign interference, cybersecurity, polling place security, and legal challenges. NBC News subscribers will also receive an exclusive insider's guide to the midterms and a weekly newsletter from Steve Kornacki.

For those in LA following the midterm elections, NBC News is putting a lot of effort into making its coverage comprehensive and visually engaging, whether you're watching on TV or streaming online.
