This free festival welcomes individuals of all abilities to participate in various adaptive sports and fitness activities. These include pickleball, tennis, rugby, adaptive archery, disc golf, boxing, basketball, and dance. All necessary equipment will be provided, and trained coaches and instructors will be on hand to assist participants, as reported by the City of Pasadena.
In addition to the sports, the festival will feature a resource fair and an interactive art workshop. A special Youth Camp will be available for children under 16 who use wheelchairs or have mobility impairments, offering a chaperoned tour and designated time for each sport, according to a web search. The first 25 participants with disabilities to arrive and register will receive a free event T-shirt.
Koko Panossian, director of Parks, Recreation and Community Services, stated that the festival aims to break down barriers to participation and connect individuals and families with valuable resources. Lunch will be provided to registered attendees. The Triumph Foundation is currently seeking participants, volunteers, sponsors, and community partners to support the event.
